Tomaz Stupnik

When I was born on December 4th, 1971, they called me Tomaz Stupnik and have been a resident of Ljubljana, I'm a 6th year Medicine student and almost finished studying Electronics. Slovenia since.

School is mostly a large waste of time, so I'm wasting it doing other things as well...

	Not being a race cyclist, I do among 2 and 3 thousand kilometers every year. Most of them with my Carrera bicycle and a few with my Father's Rudy Project (it's a MTB). There are some really nice rides here in Slovenia.
	They say I should get myself a car, but I just love hitchiking. It's an essential thing to get me to Izola, a small town not far from Koper, where my Laser (No. 125143) is parked.
It's 15 years old and weights about 75kgs, but with a few barrels of paint and a new sail, it beacame quite a competitive dinghy. When I was young, we mostly sailed with our family sailing boat, but dinghies give you much more pleasure.
There's nothing like a sailing boat, designed just to slide gently through the water. My first model was an 1:10 Elan 31 sailboat I made when I was 12, and around 15 models since. Some of them halfmodels. Most of them designed by J&J Design and a few strange designs of my own. Here's my favourite. The 8M by J&J.
	In winter, when it's to cold for me to sail I enjoy skiing. Mostly in Austria where you can find some really nice ski resorts. But the Rocky Mountain powder is something I'm dreaming for.
	It looks like TeleHangman, but it's basically a free climber hanging under the roof. This is quite a popular sport here in Slovenia, so we are kind of supposed to go climbing. My favourite resorts are Crni kal, Kotecnik and Vipavska Bela, but there's a whole bunch of others as well.
	Orientiering is quite a weird sport. You are given a map and then you run as hell through the bushes to get the right holes on your card. But it's fun. My friend Gofer made me doing it and now he's trying to force me into the league, hehehe.
	Computers. Mostly Windows programming in C++. Although I'm not a regular IRC user, you can sometimes find me there under the nickname INY. You can try and `/msg` me to play a game of Tarok.

Horses and show jumping. My first ride was a horse named Model I rode in September 1986, with a stuntman trying to teach me the Western style.
Changing to the classic style in the next year when I bought a horse of my own and started to participate on our local show jumping competitions...
My Dick was a great 7 year old foxy coloured Hanoverian. The kindest horse I ever saw and never frightened of any obstacle, no matter how high it was.

I find Zix² being the most important project I'm working on.
And there's Triglif too.
